Fire and Fiber 2022

Every two years, the Las Cruces Potters’ Guild sponsors an exhibition titled “Fire and Fiber”.

Two very different mediums, clay and fibrous material such as fabric, wool, yarn, yucca, or wood are melded into unique artwork. The clay artist must be a Guild member and the fiber artist can be a regional fiber artist and/or also a Guild member who works with a fiber medium.

The Fire and Fiber exhibition is scheduled for two locations: the Tombaugh Gallery in Las Cruces, June 2022, and The Deming Art Center in Deming, July 2022.

Co-chairs are Barbara Williams and Mary Lou LaCasse.

What we offer

Potters’ Guild of Las Cruces provides several different events that are open to the local Las Cruces, NM, community throughout the year. We welcome both artists and admirers to come in and check out the items, enjoy the company, and hang around for a while.
