The Potteries

Bill Cook, Janice Cook & Jeanne Rundell

Friday & Saturday 11 am - 5 pm or by appointment

The Potteries is a working artist studio.  Bill Cook makes architectural lighting from earthenware clay he digs himself.  Janice Cook has sculpture and porcelain dinnerware in bright colors.  Jeanne Rundell is a painter known for her whimsy.

Community Education Pottery Classes

Location: 2345 East Nevada St Las Cruces

Classes: Jan Preston Archey has been teaching all ages for 40 years.  Classes cover throwing on the wheel, hand building, special alternative firings, decorating and glazing.  Work is fired in a Daily downdraft gas kiln.
